Dr. Morvarid Poorsattar is an Oral and Maxillofacial Radiologist. She graduated with her DDS degree from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Iran. She earned her certificate in dental surgery from Paris Descartes University in France, her certificate in orthodontics from Sorbonne University in Paris, France and her certificate in oral and maxillofacial radiology from the University of Texas Health Center at San Antonio. Dr. Poorsattar is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Diplomate of the Canadian Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and a certified member of Glasgow Orthodontics in the UK. She is the author and co-author of several publications and a reviewer for the Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral Pathology, Oral Medicine, and Oral Radiology. Besides OMR, her other main interests are sleep medicine and temporomandibular joint disorders, which she had training for at Tufts University.Other interests: Protection of plants and animals in nature, gardening and travel with her husband and two young children. She does not practice orthodontics in Canada, and her work is exclusively focused on oral and maxillofacial radiology.
